I've been a teacher of Spanish as a second language several years ago in the UK, teacher of English as a second language not so many years ago in Spain and recently I've been working in the field of software translation. I've lived in Italy, UK and Canada (Québec and Ontario) as well as in my native Spain. I hold an MA in Social Anthropology, another one in Translation Studies and a BA in History of Art. I'm keen to meet committed people who are aware of vulnerability in any form and want to do their share to improve social justice.

My name is Lucrezia Martorana. I took a degree in Modern Languages and Literatures of East and West (Eastern Curriculum). I have attended an annual Master in Arabic Translation. This advanced experience enriched me both professionally and personally in that I was able to study new topics, work with CAT tools, moved to a new city, worked and interacted with unfamiliar people. I translated texts from English into Italian for UNRIC, the Brussels based United Nations Regional Information Centre. So I have the willingness to work under pressure in order to meet deadlines. I have good organizational skills, acquired in the experience of library job, ambition and perseverance in achieving a goal. I also have good interpersonal skills with the public and good propensity for problem-solving.
